The Knights rushing leader and starting corner back Davis Moore (102 carries, 838 yards, 9 td) sat out the final game of the regular season with a bruised hip, but is ready for action tonight. DWS has numerous offensive weapons including JR RB Quentin Heard (95 carries, 713 yds, 6 td), JR RB Gaughf Ivey, SR WR Casey Rhodes, SR WR Michael Laslie (20 rec, 440 yds, 5 td) and SR TE Walker Lanier (8 rec, 140 yds, 4 td). SR QB Banks Kinslow is the dealer racking up 1,087 yards and 19 passing td.
Defensively DWS has been dominant all season under senior leader MLB Rhett Cooper (81 tackles, 1 sac), Ivey (50 tackles, 2 sac, 3 int), SR DT Jordan Funderburke and JR DT Matt Miller.
Junior left tackle Harrison Houston is recovering after an auto accident last weekend. His team has rallied around the incident which left the 6'2" 230 pounder with two broken bones. DWS is deep and will use multiple players to try and fill the void. The Knights use rotating Thunder and Lightening lines to wear down opponents. Houston played in every game this season on the Thunder unit.
